Cowan started working on this idea years ago while he was traveling to various music festivals and selling his merchandise one piece at a time.
He received lots of love and positive feedback when he started to put his art on clothing. He kept giving the people what they wanted and this is how he opened a beautiful online store.
Now, his brand has grown into a full line of apparel, he also published a best-selling coloring book named “Coloring With ArtbyO”.
As it is said Art changes the world and the way you perceive the world. Obray Cowan is the person who sees the world as always half full instead of half empty.
Obray Cowan says-
“All of my creations come from the deepest and purest parts of my being, which is why I feel they resonate with everyone they come in contact with, on some level. It’s all within us, the force that drives this machine we call life.”
Through the creative process and expression of tattooing, I’ve learned how to connect with so many demographics and walks of life. The craft of tattooing has so many layers and facets that the majority do not realize. It’s spiritual in nature and is one of the oldest art forms.
Obray Cowan has been tattooing since 2011 and he continues to learn more about people, the world, and even more so, himself. Coloring With ArtbyO came during the time when we as a society needed it most. The pandemic put a lot of people in solitude and they had to be with and face themselves, their relationships, their careers, etc. For a lot of people, this was not a comfortable place to be if unhealed things arise. So he wanted to create something to help the world heal. To be able to sit still, look within, and see the beauty that we all have within us, which ripples out and creates change.
From this, so many beautiful things came. He wanted the world to be able to have access to not only just viewing His work. The coloring book gave people that access to and the ability to interact with it. The idea for the application came from the desire to get the book in front of more people through another access point.
So, there is now an app also for coloring book.
